Vaska Review and Giveaway

I got to test out an all natural Herbatergent called Vaska over the last month or so and I am so glad I did! I love all things green, and I wanted to find an amazing laundry soap. I had tested Charlies Soap in the past and like that as well, but I had concerns from other mama's about Charlies Soap causing burns when used on cloth diapers! I was anxious to test another laundry soap. I was nothing but pleased with Vaska's outstanding product!

Vaska Herbatergent is available in two varieties, light lavender and scent free. I was sent the scent free version to test out and I really adore it. It does have a herbal scent to it, but it isn't strong, it just smells good. It smells natural and fresh! Herbatergent uses natural herbal antibacterials to fight germs and remove any previos soap residue. Soap residue can damage your clothing and linens. Herbatergent helps your clothing last longer and stay brighter!

I love that Herbatergent's scent free version has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Design for the Environment program as safe for people and the environment.

I just want to say that I am obviously a fan of green products. I love anything that will help the earth and keep nasty chemicals away from my family. I know that most natural cleansers take a little more man power(like cleaning counters, etc). Vaska Herbatergent is not Tide. It isn't bleach. It DOES get your clothing clean and smelling fresh. I washed a load of laundry in Tide and then a load in this and here is what I noticed:

Yes the Tide clothes looked brighter, but all I could think is what kind of chemicals are in there to get it that bright?

The Vaska clothes came out perfectly clean. Were all the stains gone from my children's clothing? No, but I should have treated those stains. The clothing is clean. Stained and clean are two different things.

I adore the way the Vaska Herbatergent clothing smells. Everything just smells like clean!

Here are all the amazing benefits to using Vaska Herbatergent:

- It is 100% Hypo-Allergenic and completely safe for babies and people with sensitive skin.
- It is safe on colors and all natural, as well as synthetic fibers.
- Softens fabrics naturally.
- It extends fabric life because there is no chemical damage and less lint build up.
- Reduces static electricity! - I definitely noticed this!
- 2x concentrated
- Biodegradable
- Formulated for HE and standard washers
- NO animal testing!

Ingredients Include:

- Plant based surfactants
- Vegetable conditioner
- Water-soluble degreasing agent
- Lavender extract
- Filtered water

I am very happy with the way my clothes washed up with Vaska and I will not be using Tide anymore. It makes me worry what could be in Tide? I just want my laundry clean. It seems like Tide is causing a lot of damage and wear to my clothing because I noticed fading that I didn't have with Vaska Herbatergent. I feel much safer using a natural laundry soap!

A 48 ounce bottle of Herbatergent will cost you $9.99 and washes 32 loads of laundry!

  1. Anything that is going to be non-toxic for my children and family is something I definitely want to try. My husband has incredibly sensitive skin and breaks out very easily. It'd be interesting to see how this one would work with him! Email in profile.
