I was thrilled when the friendly people at Weleda agreed to do a review with me! I have always heard wonderful things about their products, especially the pregnancy line! I hope to try these during my next pregnancy! Weleda's products are all natural! They use no synthetic preservatives, fragrances, chemicals or anything else. That is music to my ears. I knew this company would fit right in with my crunchy standards! They harvest the crops in their products quickly, do little processing and take care of them along the way to give us amazing results! Weleda set up one of the first Biodynamic gardens all the way back in the 20s. What does that mean?
"In these gardens, flowers thrived in the rich, balanced soil, bees buzzed from blossom to blossom, weeds were attended to with natural solutions and gardeners gently trod on the earth, nurturing every living creature. The result: the purest plants, flowers and fruits grown on earth."
I think that is so cool! Everything works together and they all need each other!
Weleda sent me their new Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash to review. It is part of their new Pomegranate Regenerating Body Care line. The Pomegranate Regenerating Body Care line slows the aging process and brings radiance to aging skin! I may be only 24, but I have always tried to take care of my skin and will continue to do so! You can never start too early! Pomegranates are amazing to eat, they are full of antioxidants. They are also amazing to use on your skin. Pomegranates promote skin renewal and preserve natural elasticity and firmness - something I definitely need after two kids! Also in the line are the Pomegranate Regerating Hand Cream and the Pomegranate Regenerating Body Oil.
I couldn't wait to try out my body wash, and so into the shower I went. This stuff is amazing! Truly. Amazing. The first thing I noticed? The fragrance. It didn't smell like pomegrantes, but it smelled amazing. After my shower, I found out that this heavenly fragrance is essential oils of vanilla, sandalwood, blood orange and neroli! The blood orange and neroli are what I was smelling! This isn't a very sudsy wash because there are no synthetic detergents. I don't care for a super foamy wash so this made me happy! The cleanser is very gentle and non irritaing as well. After my shower I noticed super soft skin! No dry patches and no need for lotion! I have also noticed the scent of the body wash throughout the day every so often and it makes me happy.
