Seventh Generation Review and Giveaway

I was so excited to get to work with such a fabulous and widely known company like Seventh Generation. I am always up for trying new green cleaners because I want the best for my family. Seventh Generation is right up there with other quality products I have tried, but so far, they are the most cost effective as well! I can find Seventh Generation products at my Target, at my grocery store, and my farmer's markets. It's widely available and I don't think I would be spending much more than conventional cleaners! I would, and have spent MUCH more on green cleaners, and if I had to, I always would because the benefits outweigh the higher prices! I would never bring poison back into our house.

My baby daughter is obsessed with getting into cupboards, she got into our dishwasher packs one time and it changed my life! At the time we were using Cascade packs and I had walked into the kitchen to find my baby trying to eat one. I called poison control and it was all ok, it was just a little bit, but I don't ever want to feel that again! Dishwasher packs were the only thing we hadn't changed over and now we have! We have tried all sorts of dishwasher powders that are natural and we have been thrilled with the success, but when we bought Seventh Generation dishwasher apcks, I was truly impressed! With a coupon that you can print on the Seventh Generation website, they are cheaper than Cascade and work better! Not to mention, they are so much safer!

I cant tell you how excited I was to receive the Seventh Generation Healthy Home Starter Kit! The whole kit!! Check it out:

This kit includes:
- A Seventh Generation recycled reusable shopping bag
- Natural Paper Towels - 120 count per roll
- All Purpose Free and Clear Cleaner
- Glass and Surface Free and Clear Cleaner
- Kitchen Cleaner in a Wild Orange and Cedar Spice scent
- Shower Cleaner in Green Mandarin and Leaf scent
- Toilet Bowl Cleaner in Emerald Cypress and Fir scent
- Tub and Tile Cleaner in Emerald Cypress and Fir scent.

You get all of those items for an impressive - $38.99. That is about $5.58 per product! So reasonable and doable for consumers wanting to go green!

I am in love with each of these products! They literally have an alternative to every product you can buy out there. They even have a new line of disinfecting products! Natural disinfecting products! I am in love with this company for several reasons. The customer service is fabulous!! I felt like I was initiated into some awesome green club by doing this review! They are so warm and welcoming. I also love that they disclose every single item in every single product! Nothing hiding here. Check it out for yourself: Ingredients. I also adore their newest commercial!

Seventh Generation Planet Home Comercial. This commercial makes me feel so crunchy! Letting my son clean with natural cleaners is a must in this house! He has sprayed Violet in the face numerous times while "helping" me clean. I know she is safe and my three year old can try to help me until his heart is content!

The number one love I have for Seventh Generation? Their cleaners clean BETTER than anything I could buy with chemicals! Now, there are many green cleaners out there, and I cannot wait to test out more, but for me, it really isnt a contest between the green cleaners. Sure, one wants theirs to sell more, but I think it's about a bigger picture. At least I hope so! Using green cleaners is about a happier, healthier planet! There will be new green cleaners, and I will totally want to try them all. Some will be better, some wont be, but for now, I have Seventh Generation! Their kitchen cleaner and dishwasher packs will always be staples in my home and I cannot wait to buy some of their dish soap next! I need a better one of those and I am sure they will deliver!

I urge everyone I know to replace their cleaners with these because they are the most readily available, they work fantasically, they smell wonderful and our families will be safer. I think if more green companies want to reach the masses, they should sell with more stores like Target. I love being able to run in my Target and pick up some crunchy cleaners instead of having to go quite a ways to my farmers markets! Convenience matters with most consumers and Seventh Generation has figured it out! Way to go!

Obviously I am one happy and crunchy mama and I am so happy to have these cleaners in my home. They will last a long time too!

  33. The "chemical smell" that you mention comes from the solvents in the nail polish or remover such as toluene, phthalates, formaldehyde, acetates and alcohol evaporating into the air. Conventional nail polishes contain up to 5% formaldehyde which is classified as a human carcinogen and irritant to the eye, throat and skin. Phthalates were banned from children's toys over ten years ago (though they are still found in children's products!) due to their association with hormonal changes in children and infertility in adults. However, they are still unregulated in cosmetics and food in the U.S.
