Small Batch Studios Push Pack Review

Packing for the hospital when having a baby. Some people love it, others, like me, despise it. Don't get me wrong, I think the idea of it is fun, but executing the packing is a whole different matter. I'm a planner by nature, and for me, packing my hospital bag becomes a production weeks in the making. Luckily for me, Small Batch Studios has done all the planning and work for me! Say hello to their genius prepacked hospital bag called the Push Pack.

With my first child, I decided I didn't care and only brought some yummy smelling shampoo, body wash and going home outfits for my son and I. Boy, what a mistake that was. I ended up with a c-section and a 5 day hospital stay. I would have done anything for the small comforts the Push Pack has to offer. Fast forward a couple years to the birth of my 2nd child. Now here is a birth I would have killed someone to get a Push Pack. I spent weeks planning what I wanted in my bag and in the end it didn't matter. I was supposed to have a scheduled c-section but Violet decided she had other plans. I went into labor a week and a half before. Even though I had been buying for my hospital bag, I hadn't actually packed it yet. To top it all off, I was sent to the hospital directly from my ob office with absolutely nothing I needed. My grandma had to bring us a disposable camera! Needless to say, it was no fun trying to tell my husband where to find everything. I would have given anything for a prepacked hospital bag for him to grab! My third child was my VBAC baby and her bag was packed ridiculously in advance. I'm surprised I didn't leave it in the car! It would have been so much less stressful to just have the work done for me. Small Batch Studios has blown my mind with their genius. Why on earth wasnt this idea thought of sooner? They have thought of everything you could need postpartum and then some! Every pregnant mom in my life will be receiving one of these as baby shower gifts, that is for sure.

When I got my Push Pack in the mail, I was literally jumping up and down. I was so insanely excited! Here are some picture I took as I was opening it up. The packaging was adorable and they even threw in coupons for other companies and a sample of Belly Bar Prenatals.

This is what I saw when I first opened my package up. I love the time and thought that is put into the packaging.

A close up of the inside.

Sticky Bellies Coupon Code!

Labor Looks gown advertising.

Awesome Milk Money - coupons for products like the Milkies Milk Saver and Milkmakers Cookies!

Here's what I saw when I broke into the tissue paper!

Seriously, my first thought was how incredibly cute it was.

Babee Covee Advertising.

An awesome Belly Bar Prenatal.

And wallah, the Push Pack!

Here is is compared to my hand. It isn't big and bulky at all. I wasn't sure what to expect size wise before I got it, but I love the size of this! Very easy to throw into a suitcase.

And on the back is a list of everything inside.

So let me get to the nitty gritty. Here is a list of everything that comes inside the Push Pack:

"Included in the Push Pack:  EO® lavender scented shampoo, conditioner & bath gel, washcloth, make up remover, Kiss My Face shaving cream & razor, Kiss My Face lotion, Crystal deodorant wipes, comb & hair band, lip balm, Tom’s of Maine toothpaste & toothbrush, breast pads, maxi pads, disposable underwear, comfy socks, playing cards, Motherlove Organic Nipple Cream®, notepad, thank you cards & pen, gum, Preggie Pop®, Bellybar®, cup of oatmeal & spoon (did you know oatmeal helps milk production?)"

And even better yet, here is a video of me showing you everything that was inside :)

I absolutely ADORE this product and this company. Small Batch Studios and the Push Pack were thought up by a mama(Laura) in the same predicament I found myself in. What should I bring to the hospital? I think EVERY mama has this thought and every mama spends quite a bit of time pondering over it. With all of the lists of what to bring available on many websites, it is very easy to get overwhelmed. This genius mama came up with the Push Pack after the birth of her daughter. She interviewed and collaborated with many mamas and asked them what their must have items were. This bag is full of experience and wisdom from moms who have been there and done that, which I adore. There is nothing better than word of mouth from other mamas. Please, tell me what you like, loved or hated! It makes my life so much easier when I am trying to decide for myself. I adore Small Batch Studios for taking the guess work out of packing the hospital bag. Just throw some clothes in a bag for you and baby, toss in the Push Pack and you are done!

Interested in purchasing one for yourself or someone you know? I know you have to be interested at this point! You can go here and purchase one for $65.00. Considering everything you get inside, I'd say this is an incredible price. I want to get one for every pregnant mama I know! Literally everyone is going to buy the expecting mom in your life baby clothes or diapers. I would much rather spend my money on something like this that I know is unique and so incredibly helpful.

My favorite part of Small Batch Studios is that they give back. They donate to Family House San Francisco. To read more about it, click here.

Check out their Facebook page.

Take a peek at their Pinterest page too!

And while you are at it, sign up for their mailing list for special offers. I know I would be so excited to see a coupon code pop up in my mailbox.

I cannot think of one mama that would not want this for her hospital birth! It's perfectly sized and everything is natural and safe for mama, which means it is safe for baby!

I want to say a huge thank you to Laura over at Small Batch Studios for this awesome product review opportunity!

  1. Wow, that is a really awesome pack - I'm jealous! I love that everything is safe and natural - I love Crystal deodorant! - and all looks super useful. Kits like this totally make you feel pampered too, which is the best part at such a beautiful but somewhat stressful time.
